Equipping People To Live Successful Christian lives

Our mission at The Life Center is to equip people to live successful Christian Lives. We believe that everything we do is tied to a soul; everything we don't do is tied to a soul. We believe we must target our efforts so that our time and resources are equally divided between equipping those in our church to maturity in Christ and evangelizing the lost. We believe that half of our prayers, planning, staffing and ministry events should be directed to the un-churched and half to those already at The Life Center. We exist to evangelize and equip those who decide to make The Life Center their church home, to live successful Christian lives.

We believe every Christian has influence, and leads by passionately serving others.

We strive to be people of God's Word, so we can be people of our word, living in the light with nothing to hide.

We believe we are to intentionally pursue Godly relationships, by loving God and loving people.

We strive to give our best in all we do, because all we do is for Jesus

One of the ways we've done this at The Life Center is with our Extreme School Makeovers. We've helped four different schools in the San Juan school district to remake their campuses, providing over 1 million dollars’ worth of upgrades for their facilities. Hundreds of our people come together to re-landscape, spruce up, and equip their facilities so they can serve the children of our area better. We also partner with the local Food bank to bring holiday meals, school supplies, and other services for hundreds of local families in need. We encourage our members to look around; there are opportunities to lead by serving every day of our lives!
One of the great frustrations of non-church going people is the hypocrisy they see among Christians; too often we say we love others but our actions may not show them this! At The Life Center, we work hard to put God's Word into action in our everyday lives, and own up to the inevitable inconsistencies that occur when we try to live out our faith in our community. Our goal is to let our light shine before men, so they can glorify the Father in heaven!
Without love, Jesus said our actions are just a bunch of noise! Relationships are paramount to Him, and so they must be to us. We want to encourage our members to get really good at loving each other. To do this, we must first fall in love with Jesus. Someone once said, without this core value, the others just become a big L.I.E.! We can be great servant leaders, exude integrity in all we do, and live with excellence among our neighbors, but if we don't love them, we fall far short of our mission.
Jesus deserves our very best in all we do, and He taught us that when we serve with excellence the least of people, we are serving Him. We try to show this in all we do, from how we take care of His house, to how we relate to our friends and neighbors. The standard here is not perfection, but we recognize how important it is to give our best at all times.

For even I, the son of man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many.

Matthew 20:28

For the word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are.

Hebrews 4:12

We are telling you about what we ourselves have seen and heard, so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:3

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.

Colossians 3:23
